Since I was very young I always loved researching historic events and working with hand tools, and eventually I began to build vintage clocks. I never imagined that my past time would eventually become my profession, and I am so grateful that it happened that way. I learned the techniques of mechanical adjustment while working on mechanical switches at Bell Canada and my artistic abilities were developped by painting, designing, and sketching heritage clocks. Since retiring, I work at my studio located one hour south west of Québec city at Domaine Bellevue D'Inverness. I am now a freelance artisan, which gives me more time to work on my own grandfather, grandmother and mantle clocks. Because of the freedom of freelancing, my creative life today is much more interesting since the diversity of the work is so great.
